1. Product Description

SRD PM is an esteemed series of high-performance powder coatings, meticulously engineered from durable polyester, Primid hardener, and essential pigment fillers enhanced with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo a sophisticated process of melting, extrusion, and milling, delivering unparalleled physical, chemical, and decorative properties.
SRD PMcan be customized with diverse curing temperatures (150ºC~200ºC), distinctive patterns (smooth finish, texture, hammertone), and a comprehensive spectrum of gloss levels (20%~95%).

2. Powder Properties

Specific Gravity 1.2~1.8g/cm3 tailored to the color variant
Particle Size D(v,50) 30~42um, meticulously tailored for standard products
Moisture Content <1%
Storage Store in conditions below 30ºC with relative humidity under 60%, ensuring optimal quality for up to 6 months. Conduct a quality recheck if storage exceeds 6 months.
Curing Condition 180ºC for 15 minutes (metal temperature)
200ºC for 10 minutes (metal temperature)
Add 5 extra minutes for a matt finish; refer to the product test report for comprehensive details.

3. Coating Film Properties

Normal curing film thickness is approximately 60~80um, with texture finish thickness varying according
to the selected pattern. Deviations in film thickness may result in pinholes or incorrect patterns if not adhering to
the standard.
The test data provided herein were evaluated in a controlled laboratory setting using standard substrates and pretreatment; actual results may vary
when applied in the customer's'production environment. This data serves as guidance for optimal application.
These products are not suitable for thick film applications, as moisture may
be released during the reaction process.

4.Pretreatment

Ensure the substrate is meticulously clean, thoroughly degreased, and completely dry. The drying temperature should not'Ensure temperatures do not exceed 200ºC to safeguard the integrity of the product.
Avoid actions that may compromise the pretreatment film and powder adhesion, ensuring long-lasting durability. Cast pieces and hot dip galvanized
steel demand preheating to effectively expel internal moisture and gases, thereby averting any risk of bubble formation.
For achieving the finest results, we kindly urge you to inform us if there's any requirement to modify the formula.
Important Notice:We advise all customers to routinely inspect the quality of their pretreatment process tailored to their distinct supply needs to consistently maintain the outstanding quality of the final coating film. This will guarantee that the final coating film adheres to superior, unparalleled standards.

5. Application
The SRD PM product range boasts versatility and compatibility with both manual and automatic electrostatic spray equipment. If you require alternative application methods such as the tribo gun or electrostatic flow bed, do notify us
in advance for optimal results.

Important Note: It is crucial for customers to regularly inspect the film quality. Refer to GB standards or our specified test methods
for an all-encompassing guide.
Conducting trials prior to mass production of a new product or process adjustment is highly recommended to
ensure the film quality meets the highest standards required.
6. Additional Information
The SRD PM series can be transformed into exquisite metallic effects. However, these may show reduced anti-corrosion, durability, and scratch resistance. We
offer enhancements to these properties through a top clear coat, though it may significantly alter the surface appearance. It is advised to
adjust the gun voltage to around 40KV for optimal charging efficiency when applying the top coat and to prevent
contact with the first cured film post-application.
Please refrain from direct contact with the initially cured film to maintain its quality.
The SRD PM series is meticulously packaged in PE bags within sturdy boxes. Store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat,
and moisture to preserve the product's integrity.
7. Safety Precautions
Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks, gloves, and caps is crucial when applying powder coating. Refrain from eating, drinking,
and smoking during application to maintain safety.
Earthing is critically necessary when using our powder due to the explosion risk at specific concentrations
in the presence of fire. It's imperative to prohibit sparking and open flames within the workshop environment.
