1. Product Description

SRD PM is an elite series of powder coatings designed from resilient polyester, Primid hardener, and vital pigment fillers with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo a meticulous journey of melting, extrusion, and milling, offering unmatched physical, chemical, and decorative qualities.
SRD PMcan be customized with diverse curing temperatures (150ºC~200ºC), distinctive patterns (smooth finish, texture, hammertone), and a comprehensive spectrum of gloss levels (20%~95%).

Storage Store at temperatures under 30ºC with relative humidity below 60%, ensuring a shelf life of 6 months. A quality recheck is necessary if exceeding 6 months.
Curing Condition 180ºC for 15 minutes (metal temperature)
200ºC for 10 minutes (metal temperature)
Add an additional 5 minutes for a matt finish; refer to the product test report for comprehensive details.

3. Coating Film Properties

Normal curing film thickness measures approximately 60~80um, with texture finish thickness varying according
to the chosen pattern. Deviations in film thickness may lead to pinholes or incorrect patterns if they stray from
the standard.
The test data provided herein was evaluated in a laboratory setting using standard substrates and pretreatment; actual results may vary
when applied on customer's production line. The data serves as guideline purposes only.
These products are not suitable for thick film applications, as moisture may
be released during the reaction.

4.Pretreatment

Ensure the substrate is thoroughly clean, degreased, and dry. Drying temperature should not'To prevent any potential issues, ensure that the temperature does not exceed 200ºC.

5. Application
The SRD PM range is highly adaptable, compatible with both manual and automatic electrostatic spray
equipment. For alternative application methods like the tribo gun or electrostatic flow bed, please inform us
ahead of time.
Important Note: It's essential for customers to routinely check film quality. Refer to GB standards or our specific test methods
for a detailed guide.
We highly recommend conducting trials before moving to mass production of a new product or making any process adjustments to
ensure that film quality meets the desired standards.
6. Additional Information
The SRD PM series includes products capable of achieving striking metallic effects. However, these effects might have compromised anti-corrosion, durability, and scratch resistance. We
can enhance these attributes with a top clear coat, though this will significantly change the surface appearance. It is advisable to
set the gun voltage to approximately 40KV to maximize charging efficiency when applying the top coat and to minimize
contact with the first film after curing.
Please refrain from directly touching the initially cured film.
The SRD PM series is meticulously packaged in PE bags within boxes. Store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat,
and moisture to preserve product integrity.
7. Safety Precautions
It is crucial to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks, gloves, and caps, when applying powder coating. Avoid eating, drinking,
or smoking during the application process.
Earthing isabsolutely vital when using our powder due to explosion risks at certain concentrations in the presence of a flame. It's essential to avoid sparking and open flames in the workshop.
