1. Product Description

SRD PM is a prestigious series of powder coatings meticulously crafted using robust polyester, Primid hardener, and essential pigment fillers infused with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo a precise and sophisticated process of melting, extrusion, and milling, offering unmatched physical, chemical, and decorative properties.
SRD PMcan be tailored to meet your specifications with variable curing temperatures (150ºC~200ºC), offering distinctive patterns (smooth finish, texture, hammertone), and an extensive range of gloss levels (20%~95%).

2. Powder Properties

Specific Gravity 1.2~1.8g/cm3 depending on the chosen color variant to ensure precision and consistency.
Particle Size D(v,50) 30~42um, expertly tailored for standard products.
Moisture Content <1%
Storage Store at temperatures below 30ºC with a relative humidity under 60%, ensuring a reliable shelf life of 6 months. A quality recheck is recommended if the period exceeds 6 months.
Curing Condition 180ºC for 15 minutes (metal temperature)
200ºC for 10 minutes (metal temperature)
Add 5 extra minutes for a matt finish; please refer to the product test report for detailed information.

3. Coating Film Properties

Normal curing film thickness measures approximately 60~80um, with texture finish thickness varying according
to the selected pattern. Variations in film thickness may result in pinholes or incorrect patterns if deviating from
the standard.
The test data provided has been carefully evaluated in a laboratory setting using standard substrates and pretreatment processes; actual results may vary
when applied on customer's production line. The data is intended for guideline purposes only.
These products are not recommended for thick film applications, as moisture may
be released during the reaction.

Ensure that the substrate is thoroughly clean, degreased, and dry. The drying temperature should not'To ensure product integrity, avoid exceeding 200ºC as it may compromise the quality.
Ensure the pretreatment film and powder adhesion remain uncompromised by maintaining optimal conditions. CThe casting process and hot dip galvanization require careful attention.
Preheat steel meticulously to expel any internal moisture and gases, essential for preventing bubble formation.
For exceptional results, it's crucial to inform us ahead of time if formula adjustments are necessary.
Important Notice:We advise customers to regularly evaluate the pretreatment quality according to their specific supply needs. This proactive approach ensures the final coating film maintains its excellence. Such diligence will guarantee that the final coating film consistently meets superior standards.

5. Application
Our SRD PM product line is designed for versatility, seamlessly compatible with both manual and automatic electrostatic spray equipment.
For alternative methods like the tribo gun or electrostatic flow bed, please communicate your needs to us ahead of time.
Prompt notification allows us to accommodate your specific application requirements.
Important Note: Regular inspection of film quality by customers remains crucial. Consult GB standards or our detailed test methods
for an exhaustive guide to maintaining quality assurance.
Prior to mass production or process adjustments, trials are highly recommended to
ensure the film quality meets and aligns with your required standards.
6. Additional Information
The SRD PM series offers a transformative range, creating stunning metallic effects. Note, these effects may reduce anti-corrosion durability and scratch resistance. To enhance these features,
a top clear coat is recommended, though it may alter the surface appearance significantly. Consider adjusting the application process by
modifying the gun voltage to about 40KV to optimize charging efficiency while applying the top coat.
It's vital to prevent contact with the initially cured film after curing.
Always avoid direct contact with the first film post-curing to maintain flawless results.
The SRD PM series is expertly packaged in PE bags and boxes to preserve quality. Store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
Proper storage is key to maintaining the integrity of the product.

Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)-including masks, gloves, and caps-during powder coating application. Avoid all food-related activities during the process.
