1. Product Description

SRD PM represents a high-end series of powder coatings meticulously crafted from durable polyester, Primid hardener, and vital pigment fillers enriched with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo a precise process of melting, extrusion, and milling, resulting in unparalleled physical, chemical, and decorative characteristics.
SRD PMis adaptable with customizable curing temperatures (150ºC~200ºC), a variety of distinctive patterns (smooth finish, texture, hammertone), and an extensive range of gloss levels (20%~95%).

2. Powder Properties

Storage Maintain storage at temperatures below 30ºC with relative humidity under 60%, ensuring a shelf life of 6 months. A quality reassessment is advised if storage surpasses 6 months.
Curing Condition Cure at 180ºC for 15 minutes (metal temperature)
or 200ºC for 10 minutes (metal temperature).
For a matt finish, extend by an additional 5 minutes; refer to the product test report for comprehensive details.

3. Coating Film Properties

Normal curing film thickness is approximately 60~80um, with texture finish thickness varying following
the selected pattern. Deviations from standard thickness may result in pinholes or inaccurate patterns.

4.Pretreatment

Ensure the substrate is meticulously clean, degreased, and dry. The drying temperature must not't exceed 200ºC to prevent
compromising the pretreatment film and powder adhesion. Cast piece and hot dip galvanize
steel require preheating to expel internal moisture and gases, thereby preventing bubble formation.
To ensure optimal results, kindly notify us in advance if there's a need to adjust the formula.
Important Notice:Customers are advised to regularly inspect the quality of the pretreatment based on their specific supply requirements to maintain the excellence of the final coating film. This will ensure that the final coating film upholds superior standards.

5. Application
The SRD PM product range is versatile, compatible with both manual and automatic electrostatic spray
equipment. Should you require alternative application methods such as the tribo gun or electrostatic flow bed, please notify us
in advance.
Important Note: Regular inspection of the film quality by the customer is crucial. Refer to GB standards or our specified test methods
for a comprehensive guide.
It's highly recommended to conduct trials before mass production of a new product or adjusting the process to
ensure the film quality aligns with the required standards.
6. Additional Information
The SRD PM series offers products that can be transformed into stunning metallic effects. However, these effects may exhibit reduced anti-corrosion, durability, and scratch resistance. We
can enhance these properties with a top clear coat, though the surface appearance will be significantly altered. It is advised to
adjust the gun voltage to approximately 40KV to optimize charging efficiency when applying the top coat and to prevent
contact with the first film post-curing.
Please avoid direct contact with the initially cured film.
The SRD PM series is carefully packaged in PE bags within boxes. Ensure to store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat,
and moisture to maintain product integrity.
7. Safety Precautions
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), like masks, gloves, and caps, is essential when applying powder coating. Avoid eating, drinking,
and smoking during application.
Earthing is critically necessary when utilizing our powder due to risks of explosion at certain concentrations
in the presence of fire. It is imperative to prohibit sparking and open flames in the workshop.

For toy applications, it is essential to inform us beforehand to verify that the heavy metal content complies with the specific standards.
