1. Product Description
SRD PM is a distinguished series of powder coatings meticulously engineered from sturdy polyester, Primid hardener, and essential pigment fillers, enhanced with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings endure a precise process of melting, extrusion, and milling, delivering unmatched physical, chemical, and decorative properties.
SRD PMcan be customized to suit various curing temperatures (150ºC~200ºC), distinctive patterns (smooth finish, texture, hammertone), and a broad spectrum of gloss levels (20%~95%), offering unrivaled flexibility.
2. Powder Properties
Specific Gravity 1.2~1.8g/cm3 dependent on the color variant, ensuring precision.
Particle Size D(v,50) tailored to 30~42um for standard products, ensuring consistent quality.

Storage Store below 30ºC with relative humidity under 60% for a shelf life of 6 months. Re-evaluate quality if beyond 6 months to maintain excellence.

3. Coating Film Properties

preheating is essential to expel internal moisture and gases, thereby preventing bubble formation and maintaining a flawless finish.
To achieve the best results, please inform us in advance if there is a need to modify the coating formula.
Important Notice:Customers are strongly encouraged to regularly inspect the quality of the pretreatment based on their specific supply requirements to ensure the final coating film remains of the highest quality. This practice guarantees that the final coating film consistently upholds superior standards.
5. Application
The SRD PM product line is incredibly versatile, accommodating both manual and automatic electrostatic spray equipment.
Should you require alternative methods such as a tribo gun or electrostatic flow bed, kindly inform us
in advance, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Important Note: Regular inspection of film quality by the customer is paramount. Refer to GB standards or our specified test methods
for a complete and thorough guide to maintaining exceptional quality.
Conducting trials before mass production of a new product or process adjustment is highly recommended to
ensure the film quality meets and exceeds the required standards.
6. Additional Information
The SRD PM series includes products that can be transformed into dazzling metallic effects, though these may exhibit reduced anti-corrosion, durability, and scratch resistance. We
can enhance these properties with a top clear coat, though this will significantly alter the surface appearance. It is advised to
adjust the gun voltage to approximately 40KV to optimize charging efficiency when applying the top coat, thus preventing
contact with the first film post-curing to preserve the integrity of the finish.
Please avoid direct contact with the initially cured film to maintain its pristine condition.
The SRD PM series is meticulously packaged in PE bags within boxes to protect the product. Store away from direct sunlight, excessive heat,
and moisture to uphold the integrity and longevity of the product.
7. Safety Precautions
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and caps, is crucial when applying powder coating. Refrain from eating, drinking,
and smoking during the application process to maintain a safe environment.
Earthing is critically necessary when using our powder due to risks of explosion at certain concentrations
in the presence of fire. It is essential to prohibit sparking and open flames in the workshop environment.
