1.Product Description

SRD EP is a series of powdercoating which are made of epoxy and polyester and other necessary pigment filler and special agents. These products are thermosetting powdercoating with process of melting extrusion and milling which can offer excellent physical chemical and decorative properties.
SRD EP can be customized with different curing temperature(140ºC~200ºC),different pattern(smooth finish,texture,hammertone),different gloss levels(7%~95%).

2.Powder properties

moisture content <1%
storage Temperature less than 30ºC,relative humidity less than 60% ,shelf life 6months. Quality recheck needed if longer than 6 months

3.Coating film properties

Normal curing film thickness is about 60~80um and thickness of texture finish varies according
to different pattern. Pinhole or wrong pattern will happen if film thickness has big gap with
standard.
Test data below was tested in lab at the base of standard substrate and pretreatment and may have
some difference with what can be obtained at customer's line. Just for reference.

4.Pretreatment

Steel Zinc phosphate
Galvanize steel iron phosphate
Aluminum chromate conversion coating
Substrate need entirely clean, degreasing and dry. Dry temperature can't surpass 200ºC to avoid
destroying the pretreatment film and adhesion with powder. Cast piece and hot dip galvanize
steel need preheat to get internal water and gas out to avoid bubbles.

5. Application
SRD EP Our SRD EP product line is versatile, compatible with both manual and automatic electrostatic spray equipment.
For other application methods, such as tribo guns and electrostatic flow beds, please inform us
in advance, ensuring optimal results and tailored advice.
Note: It is essential that customers conduct regular inspections of the film quality. Reference methods are available either under our reliable GB standards or through our proprietary test methods.

Prior to scaling up to mass production, particularly with new products or process changes, customers should conduct trials to
ensure that the film quality aligns with the required standards, safeguarding performance and satisfaction.
6. Others
SRD EP Our SRD EP series can be customized to create stunning metallic effects. However, please choose carefully, as these effects may exhibit reduced anti-corrosion, durability, and scratch resistance.
To counteract these limitations, we can enhance these features with a top clear coat, though this may alter the surface appearance.

When applying the top coat, reduce the gun voltage to about 40KV to ensure excellent charging efficiency and avoid any contact with the cured first film to prevent damage.

Aris EP Our Aris EP series products are thoughtfully packaged in PE bags within boxes to ensure their integrity. Protect them from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.

7. Safety
For safety, always wear personal protective equipment, such as masks, gloves, and caps, when applying our powder coatings. Refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking during the process.

Earthing is particularly important when using our powder to prevent any risks of explosion at specific
concentrations
with fire hazards. Maintain a safe environment by prohibiting sparks and open flames in the workshop.
