1.Product Description

SRD Zinc Primer Our SRD Zinc Primer series is crafted from a blend of epoxy, hardeners, zinc, and essential pigments and agents. These thermosetting powder coatings, processed through melting extrusion and milling, deliver exceptional physical, chemical, and anti-corrosion properties.

2.Powder properties

Particle size D(v,50) 30~42um for standard applications
Moisture content Below 1%
Storage Keep under 25ºC and less than 60% relative humidity for optimum shelf life of 6 months. Recheck quality if stored beyond this period.
Curing condition 140ºC~ 150ºC 4~6minutes (metal temp) for effective curing, followed by top coat application.

3.Coating film properties

NThe ideal curing film thickness ranges from 60 to 80um. Variations in film thickness may influence the ultimate anti-corrosion properties.

4.Pretreatment

Perform zinc-phosphate pretreatment on steel, followed by rinsing with de ionizedwater and thorough drying.

The SRD zinc primer line can be applied using both manual and automated electrostatic
Spray techniques.
