1.Product Description

SRD Zinc Primer is a premium series of powder coatings, expertly composed of epoxy, hardener, zinc, and essential pigment fillers with special agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo melting, extrusion, and milling processes, delivering outstanding physical, chemical, and anti-corrosion properties.

2.Powder properties

Particle size D(v,50) 30~42um for standard applications
Moisture content Less than 1% ensures optimal performance
Storage Maintain temperature under 25ºC and relative humidity below 60%. Shelf life is 6 months. Recheck quality if stored longer.
Curing condition 140ºC~ 150ºC 4~6minutes (metal temperature) then cure with the top
coat simultaneously.
Note: Conditions above derived from lab electrical ovens. Experiment
to find optimal adhesion conditions for your specific line,
ensuring perfect primer and top coat harmony..
 

3.Coating film properties

Normal curing film thickness spans 60~80um. Film thickness directly influences
anti-corrosion effectiveness.
Test data provided was obtained under lab conditions with standard substrate and zinc-phosphate
pretreatment and may differ from results on your production line.

4.Pretreatment

Execute zinc-phosphate pretreatment on steel, followed by rinsing with deionizedwater, then dry. water and drying.

The SRD zinc primer series can be expertly applied using either manual or automatic electrostatic
spray techniques.
