1.Product Description

SRD Zinc Primer is an innovative series of powder coatings crafted from epoxy, hardener, zinc, and essential pigment fillers, along with specialized agents. These thermosetting powder coatings undergo a state-of-the-art process of melting extrusion and milling, delivering unparalleled physical, chemical, and anti-corrosion prowess.

2.Powder properties

Particle size D(v,50) 30~42um for standard product excellence
Moisture content below 1% for optimal performance
Storage Maintain temperature below 25ºC, relative humidity under 60%, and a shelf life of 6 months. Recheck quality if exceeding this period to ensure peak performance.
Curing condition 140ºC~ 150ºC 4~6min (metal temperature) then cure harmoniously with top
coating together.
Note: Conditions derived from lab electrical oven trials. It is essential to determine
optimal conditions on your production line to achieve superior adhesion between
primer and top coat.
 

3.Coating film properties

Normal curing film thickness ranges approximately 60~80um. The film's thickness is crucial in determining the final anti-corrosion
capabilities.
Test data below were meticulously verified in a lab using standard substrate and zinc-phosphate
pretreatment. Variations may occur when implemented in customer's production settings.

Conduct zinc-phosphate pretreatment on steel surfaces followed by a rinse with deionized water and efficient drying.
